The healing power of love...

We are horrified and heart broken by the hate and pain the Orlando community has, and is still, enduring.  My husband and I wish you the healing power of love from our Placerville community to yours.
Scott & Ginny

P.S. Thank you to Simply Betty Stamps for providing this free image for me to color and make into a card to send.  It will be mailed to the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando.

EvilLina sings Happy Birthday...

EvilLina appears to be a torch singer... but the fun is in the details.  RSD images always bring a surprise!  My first discovery was the tattoo on her left arm, and then her less than beautiful smile.  I lived in the Tenderloin in The City for about a year in the 60's and I secretly believe she is from San Francisco's Finochio's.  I really enjoyed coloring her and that gorgeous dress!

613 Ave C's latest challenge is ATG/Optional Twist of Create a Tag starts today and runs for a week. Rick St. dennis is the sponsor and is providing the prize.  Yea!!!  The amazing 613 Team has provided some ideas for you to spark your mojo - and all the details you need to enter the challenge can be found at the link above for 613 above.  Come on- join the fun!

    Carson's Birthday...

Another Grandson's birthday coming up - and Mo's images to the rescue!  Finding a non-cutsy image for a teenage boy is not always easy.  This Mo Manning image fills the bill - cell phones and/or headphones are pretty much a constant at this age.  I had fun with this one adding paper piecing to the chair.

      Susan's card...

Another Mo Manning image that amuses me coupled with an altered sentiment: "You like to surround yourself with people who share in your inappropriate comments, sarcasm and random shenanigans."  Inside I just put: "Like me!"

Hopefully this will bring a smile to my friend Susan's face.  We have been known to share random shenanigans!

          A fun surprise...

          The little print reads:
"...and I still want to smack some people."
I recently signed up for one of Sandy Allnock's classes and she sent me a "Customer Appreciation" card and four [!!!] little sets of stamps. How cool is that?!  This is one of the images that I really liked and I immediately linked it with a sentiment from Ginger's House.  Not really a normal "thank you" card - but I wanted her to see one of the stamps as I would use it!  Hope she likes slightly edgy [read snarky] sentiments!  I've left the inside blank for a thankyou note to Sandy.  That front sentiment doesn't really fit a Thank you card - but I think it is perfect for that image!
