The Sweet Life...

These whimsical figures from the imagination of Megan K Suarez at Silly Dilly Beans Stamps are a lot of fun!  She has some "Frida" images that are to die for in my opinion!!
This card was created for:

I started with dominantly red papers from The Paper Studio and opted to use black as my second color.  I cut a layer from each of the three "reds", layered each on black and used the left over paper for the inside.  This figure is one of three wild creatures on a Collage sheet called "Sweet Life Digi Collage".  It also includes the sentiment, sucker & black and white checkered border used on the all red and a variety of candies that can be cut out and collaged together!  I added color to the candy with Copics and after cutting each element out, I sculpted the little boy(?) and the large sucker. Diamond Glaze was used on the sucker and his eyes to add shine & some dimension.  The sentiment was punched out with an SU punch & layered on black also.

This card should be eligible for the following
CHALLENGES:
The Paper Shelter #102 - Punches and Dies (Sentiment SU punch)
Totally Paper Crafts #157 - Punch It (Sentiment SU punch)
Paper Take Weekly - Anything Goes
Pile It On #10 - Yummy
One Stitch at a Time #154 - Anything Goes

  6. This is a wonderful interpretation of the 2 colour challenge. I love the papers you have chosen and the wonky angles of the layout. The black matting makes everything pop and lends great cohesiveness to the card. Sculpting this fun image is a clever detail that adds so much. Fun and funky card, ginny.
